Breaking Bread: Dialogues Beyond the Digital
At a time of intense division, polarization, and alienation, we want to bring back ‘salon’ style conversations to the public sphere.
The purpose of this initiative is to break bread with our fellow Canadians and foster open and honest conversations where all perspectives are welcome. We want to create a place where meaningful, sometimes uncomfortable, conversations transcend sloganeering, buzzwords, and ideological enslavement.
More importantly, we are strictly non-partisan, welcoming all viewpoints without ideological gatekeeping.
By reconnecting beyond the digital realm, our goal is to revive in-person conversations with people of all backgrounds and interests, bring back third places, and rebuild a culture of shared understanding. And maybe even heal some of our wounds, in whatever way we can.

The purpose is not to ‘win’ but to take turns talking, sharing, and actively engaging with one another.
